Instead, the government requires a specific Permanent Foundation Certification that a licensed Professional Engineer must stamp. How fast can I get the report? We know that these requests often pop up just days before closing. Therefore, we prioritize speed for every client. In most cases, we can deliver the signed, stamped engineer’s report within 72 hours of the site visit.
What if the foundation fails? If the engineer determines the home does not meet PFGMH standards, they will provide a “cure plan.” This plan details exactly what repairs are needed, such as adding straps or bracing. Subsequently, once you make those repairs, we can re-inspect to issue the final certificate.
